Refunds & Cancellation Policy

The short version

Not happy with SENTINEL·IEP? Email us within 30 days of your purchase and we'll refund you in full. No questions asked, no script, no friction.

After 30 days, purchases are final — but you can cancel any auto-renewal at any time so you're not charged again.

30-day money-back guarantee

Every paid plan (Single Case, Family, Advocate) comes with a 30-day money-back guarantee. If you're not satisfied with SENTINEL·IEP for any reason within 30 days of your initial purchase, contact us at our support page and we'll process a full refund.

To request a refund:

  1. Email us within 30 days of your purchase date
  2. Include the email address you used at checkout
  3. Tell us briefly what didn't work (optional — feedback helps us improve)
  4. We'll process the refund within 3 business days. Stripe takes 5–10 business days to return the funds to your card.

Once refunded, your license is deactivated.

After 30 days

Purchases more than 30 days old are non-refundable. We don't pro-rate refunds for unused time. This keeps the policy simple and predictable for everyone.

If you've paid for a Founding Member plan that runs through December 31, 2026, your access continues through that date regardless of whether you cancel auto-renewal.

Cancelling auto-renewal

If you chose "Auto-renew on January 1, 2027" at checkout, your subscription will renew automatically at the standard annual rate ($156 for Family, $399 for Advocate). You can cancel any time before December 31, 2026 and you won't be charged.

Two ways to cancel:

  • Manage your subscription — Sign in to SENTINEL·IEP and click your account → "Manage subscription." This opens Stripe's secure customer portal where you can cancel, change payment methods, or view invoices.
  • Email support — Send us a message via the contact page and we'll cancel it for you within one business day.

If you cancel after January 1, 2027 has charged you, the standard refund policy applies: full refund within 30 days, none after.

Failed payments & involuntary churn

If your card on file fails to charge on January 1, 2027 (expired card, insufficient funds, etc.), Stripe will retry the charge automatically and email you. If we still can't charge after 14 days, your subscription will be cancelled and your access will end on the date your license expires. You can re-subscribe at any time.

Chargebacks

Please contact us before initiating a chargeback with your bank. Chargebacks are slow, costly for both of us, and we'd much rather just refund you directly if there's a problem. We will fully refund any legitimate dispute up to 30 days after purchase.

Special situations

We're a small team. If you have a genuinely unusual situation — fraud on your account, a billing error on our side, a family emergency, or anything else that doesn't fit the policy above — reach out. We'll do the right thing.
